I wish you a continuing Happy Pentecost! On Sunday, we celebrated the descent of the Holy Spirit on Our Lady, St. Peter and the Apostles on Pentecost day, when the great mission of the Church began throughout the world. That mission continues vibrantly in our own times and within our wonderful Diocese of Portsmouth. Let us pray for the sevenfold gifts of the Holy Spirit to inspire us and to lead us in our own lives closer to Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour and one day to bring us to heaven.

Meanwhile, welcome to this e-News for Tuesday 10th June 2025. Welcome back to e-News, since because of holidays etc. in Bishop’s Office, we’ve been away these last two weeks. There’s more to catch up on than usual this week – so thank you to Deacon Craig for editing this edition and thanks to all of you for submitting the contents.
