Underpinning the Diocesan approach to school reorganisation is the desire and need to ensure the promotion, preservation, protection, and future development of Catholic education within the Catholic Diocese of Portsmouth so that it is fit for the mission of the Church.
The Trustees have decided that all maintained schools in England under the Trust deed of the Catholic Diocese of Portsmouth will become academies within two Diocesan Catholic Academy Trusts by September 2030.
