The Portsmouth Bamenda Committee supports the link between Portsmouth Diocese and the Archdiocese of Bamenda which was established over 50 years ago.
Members of the committee work with counterparts in Bamenda to strengthen the relationship between our two dioceses through promoting prayer for one another, practical and financial support for projects, the organisation of exchange visits, the promotion of link between our schools, and the sharing of news and information.
The Committee is currently looking for enthusiastic new members. Further information on the link with Bamenda can be found on our Diocese website https://staging.portsmouthdiocese.org.uk/bamenda/. The role includes 5-6 meetings per year, usually held on Teams and around 10 hours of activity in between meetings, depending on any specific role you take on. Anyone who may be interested in joining is welcome to contact the chair – Tim Foy at tfoy@portsmouthdiocese.org.uk.
