The annual gathering of our Diocesan seminarians took place at Bishop’s House.  The day began with midday Mass in the Cathedral, for the Memorial of St. Alphonsus Liguori. The group then had lunch in the Aula, followed by a talk from Bishop Philip Egan and a discussion with Heather Hauschild, COO Catholic Diocese of Portsmouth on the diocesan ten year Mission plan, “You will be my Witnesses.” This was followed by a Holy Hour in the Cathedral in St. John’s Chapel with Evening Prayer before a barbecue in the garden of the Discovery Centre.

The group were also joined by a number of “seekers’, that is, young men who are currently discerning their vocation.

Please pray for them and for more vocations.
